The Buffalo Bills have once again waived the son of an NFL legend following his impressive preseason.
Frank Gore Jr., the son of former NFL running back Frank Gore, was waived by the Bills on Tuesday. The decision came as somewhat of a surprise, as Gore Jr. was impressive in Buffalo's three preseason games.
Gore Jr. finished the preseason with 104 rushing yards on 23 carries. He also had 11 catches for 109 receiving yards. Gore Jr. was the only player in the NFL who had more than 100 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving during the preseason.
The Bills signed Gore as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Miss last year. He was also effective during his first NFL preseason, but the team felt he did not do enough to earn a 53-man roster spot. The 23-year-old was signed back to Buffa
