A federal judge denied a motion to dismiss charges against Milwaukee County Judge Hannah C. Dugan, who is accused of helping an immigrant evade federal authorities .

U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman rejected Dugan's argument that she was protected by judicial immunity from criminal prosecution. The ruling allows the case to proceed on charges of concealing a person from arrest and obstructing removal proceedings.
