What do Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry and renowned chef Michael Mina have in common? A love of fine dining and bourbon.

Now the two are teaming up on a steakhouse and bar venture in San Francisco.

Mina is set to resurrect his modern steakhouse Bourbon Steak at The Westin St. Francis at Union Square in October, and Curry is planning to open a reservations-only bar called Eighth Rule right across the lobby.

Two years ago, Curry launched a bourbon whiskey brand called Gentleman's Cut.

Mina and Curry said they have been talking about a bar in San Francisco for years and are excited to finally make it a reality.
