Firefighters worked to contain a two-alarm fire in downtown Baltimore on Tuesday.

Crews responded to the 300 block of S. Mount Street, where smoke was billowing from a group of rowhomes, according to Baltimore Fire spokesperson John Marsh.

The Baltimore Fire Department said fire was blazing from two vacant rowhomes, and four rowhomes were involved.

There were no reports of injuries, fire officials said.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

Children accused of setting fire to school playground

This past weekend, a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old were arrested for "deliberately setting a fire" to a school playground in Baltimore, according to a Baltimore City schools spokesperson.
