Welcome back to Silent Hill . Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting have unveiled the first trailer for “ Return to Silent Hill ,” the third live-action feature adaptation of Konami’s seminal horror video game franchise — and the first in over a decade.
In the new footage, Jeremy Irvine plays James Sunderland as he ventures into the haunted town of Silent Hill and runs through dark corridors, a burning building and away from the killer Pyramid Head. Hannah Emily Anderson also features in the cast as Mary Crane.
“Return to Silent Hill” sees director Christopher Gans return to the franchise, after helming the first “Silent Hill” movie, released in 2006. A sequel, “Silent Hill: Revelation,” was directed by M. J. Bassett and released in 2012.
