A Roseville man was fatally shot by his father just three days after he turned 20 in what investigators called a “domestic dispute,” according to the victim’s family and police.

DaJuan Michael Caleb Jr., 20, was shot in the chest Saturday in an apartment complex on Pinehurst Street. He was transported to St. John and Medical Center in Detroit, where he was pronounced dead.

Roseville Police Chief said the two men, who apparently lived together, had a domestic dispute that resulted in the shooting.

“The matter is under review by the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office,” Berlin said during a break in Tuesday night’s city council meeting.

The father was arrested Saturday night at the apartments near Gratiot Avenue and Frazho Road. No other details of the incident were released.
