WALLA WALLA, Wash. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) , Walla Walla District, announced the reopening of six recreation areas along the Snake River for the fall season.

The openings will occur between late August and September, offering autumn activities like camping, fishing and hunting, USACE said in a release .

The sites include Little Goose Lock and Dam, Lambi Creek Recreation Area, Willow Landing Recreation Area, Illia Dunes Habitat Management Unit, Lower Granite Lock and Dam and Blyton Landing.

Another site, Lewiston Levee Parkway, will open its confluence parking and restrooms on September 5.
