Gary the Emu has been found and returned to his family.

The Emu who went missing from a family farm in Parrottsville is back and safe at home.

Owner Amy Lovell Gagne gave shoutout to Karleen Kilday who found the wandering Gary and notified his owners.

The Cocke County Emergency Management Agency has joined the efforts to find Gary the Emu, who walked away from his home on Smelcer Road in Parrottsville.
