VERNDALE — Chloe Trantina tallied 15 digs and five aces for the Staples-Motley Cardinals as they defeated the Verndale Pirates 3-0 Tuesday, Aug. 26.

S-M’s Izzy Becker finished with 35 digs and Annie Schlosser tallied six kills, 10 digs, 12 set assists, an ace and a block.

Aspen Orlando led Verndale with six kills, five digs, seven set assists and an ace. Verndale’s Madyson Anderson added 10 digs and four kills.

CROMWELL — Veronica Millsop collected 13 kills and 21 digs for the Crosby-Ironton Rangers in a 3-0 win over the Cromwell Cardinals Tuesday, Aug. 26.

Camryn Armbrust recorded 24 set assists and seven digs. Samantha Hachey notched 13 kills and 10 digs.

Emma Anderson added 13 digs and Avah Stroschein 17 digs.
