The offseason is over! The Chicago Bears have whittled their roster down to the mandated 53 players (for now), and they’ve turned their attention to week one for the Monday Night matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
This will be Chicago’s most anticipated opening game since 2019, when they were coming off the NFC North title and were facing the Green Bay Packers in the franchise’s 100th anniversary season. That game (and season) didn’t go so well as Matt Nagy failed to build off the previous 12-win campaign and Mitch Trubisky regressed.
