PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - No criminal charges have been filed in the investigation into a Pueblo mortuary yet, but a prosecutor and former deputy district attorney is looking at how the case could play out.
Investigators are working to figure out why 24 decomposing bodies were in a hidden room in Davis Mortuary, which is owned by Pueblo County Coroner Brian Cotter and his brother, Chris.
The discovery itself isn’t unique.
Eric Faddis, a prosecutor with Varner Faddis and a former deputy district attorney in Arapahoe County, said past cases will likely influence how the case of Davis Mortuary moves forward.
