Plans for a new restaurant in one of Birmingham’s trendiest neighbourhoods have taken a crucial step forward.

An application for a site in the Jewellery Quarter is seeking permission for a change of use from commercial retail space to a restaurant/bar.

If the proposal is approved later this week, the unit in Warstone Lane would be occupied by the ‘House of Chill Restaurant and Lounge’.

It would become the latest addition to the thriving food and drink scene of the JQ, once the beating heart of the nation’s jewellery manufacturing and now often referred to as one of Birmingham ’s coolest areas.
