KINGSFORD — The Norway Knights girls tennis team continued its fine start Monday with an 8-0 defeat of Iron Mountain in a match played at Kingsford High School.
The Knights captured all 16 sets played. In singles, Jordyn Moln knocked off Alysia Wood 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, Ella Wojtowicz defeated Avea Brown 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, Tori Trudeau upended Jacalyn Rowe 6-2, 6-2 at three singles and Jessa Rossler recorded a 6-2, 6-1 win over Grace Webb at No. 4 singles.
The No. 1 and No. 3 doubles matches were the most competitive contests of the day.
