Cracker Barrel has given in to public demand. The 56-year-old Southern chain announced they are scrapping their new logo after many people criticized the brand for “going woke” by removing the old timey elements from their branding.
“We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel,” Cracker Barrel wrote in a statement on Tuesday night. “We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our ‘Old Timer’ will remain. At Cracker Barrel, it’s always been – and always will be – about serving up delicious food, warm welcomes, and the kind of country hospitality that feels like family.
