Arkansas focus sites

Railroad giant Union Pacific has designated two industrial parks in east and south Arkansas as focus sites, the company said Monday. The designation will give businesses easier access to the company's rail network, according to a news release.

The two sites are the Helena Industrial Park and the Prescott Industrial Park. The Omaha-based company's focus sites are large-scale development sites designed to house warehouses and industrial facilities.

The sites act as railroad hubs where Union Pacific can concentrate its resources and provide rail designs approved by the company and local development support, according to a Union Pacific spokesperson.
