Well it seems the wait is finally over as the US tech giant has just announced the date for its next huge event, with many believing it will finally confirm the new iPhone 17 range which will end the reign of the iPhone 16.

Sending invites out to the world's media, Apple has informed loyal fans that the next important date to pop in their diaries is Tuesday, September 9. The image reads: "Awe dropping. Please join us for a special Apple Event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park."
