British food may be controversial at times, but you can't deny that we've got a pretty decent selection . A lot of this isn't actually widely available anywhere else in the world, although we might take it for granted.

The Express journalist Vita Molyneux, who moved to the UK from New Zealand over a year ago, has sampled many of these, with HP sauce becoming a firm favourite in her household. But when it comes to the slightly more obscure, she hasn't ventured far.
