Former state trooper Michael Proctor 's hearing will resume Wednesday at the Massachusetts Civil Service Commission as he continues his effort to be reinstated following his firing from the police force back in March.

Proctor was found guilty by a state police trial board in March of three counts of unsatisfactory performance, and one charge of alcoholic beverage, leading to his firing.

On the first day of the hearing Tuesday , there were opening statements from both sides, and then state police called its only witness to the stand, Lt. Kevin Dwyer, who is currently working for the department's Office of Professional Integrity and is notable because he was tasked with investigating Proctor's conduct.
