A golf tournament named in memory of a dedicated public education worker that supports students across the region teed off to another success.
The Bruce Nugent Memorial Golf Tournament in support of the Lakehead Learning Foundation was held on Monday at Whitewater Golf Club and saw nearly 150 golfers take to the links.
"It's the third year in a row we've sold out," said Aidan Nugent, Bruce Nugent's son. "This is the longest running charity golf tournament at Whitewater. It's grown every year and we sell out almost instantly. It's great to see the whole community support this."
