U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy says the Trump administration is reclaiming management of Union Station in Washington, D.C.
“Instead of being a point of pride, Washington’s Union Station has fallen into disrepair. By reclaiming station management, we will help make this city safe and beautiful at a fraction of the cost,” Duffy said in a release.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will work closely with Amtrak and the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation to make Union Station a “world class transit hub,” deputy secretary Steve Bradbury said in the release.
