Thunderbolts has just arrived on Disney Plus following its initial cinema release in May 2025.

The film represents the concluding instalment of Phase Five within the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) and witnessed the Thunderbolts squad rebranded as the "New Avengers".

The picture, which features major stars including Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan, follows an amnesiac individual called Bob (Lewis Pullman) who emerges from a suspended animation chamber.

The squad initially encounters Bob within an underground facility they've been drawn to, and initially, he doesn't seem threatening.
