TYLER, Texas — Jurors on Wednesday viewed police body camera footage showing the reactions of family members and witnesses after a Tyler business owner was shot and killed last October. Meanwhile, the defense questioned how responding officers handled the crime scene.
Scotty Lee Goble, of Corsicana, is charged with murder in the death of Heriberto “Eddie” Ramirez Jr., 38, of Tyler, in the parking lot of Junior’s Taqueria on Oct. 11, 2024. Ramirez was the co-owner of the restaurant. Goble pleaded not guilty Tuesday. Wednesday marked the second day of trial.
