Four people, including three Chicago police officers, were injured in a police-involved shooting Wednesday morning in the Englewood neighborhood, according to fire officials and the Civilian Office of Police Accountability.

The shooting happened in the 5800 block of South Shields Avenue, COPA said.

Fire department spokesperson Larry Merritt said the three officers and one civilian were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center. He said the officers’ injuries are “nothing that’s life-threatening,” and that he doesn’t know the condition of the civilian.

Chicago police haven’t released any information on the shooting yet.

COPA said it’s investigating and asked anyone with information to call their office at 312-746-3609.
