Lovers Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been engaged for the better part of this month, according to the Super Bowl champ’s dad, Ed Kelce, who’s spilling all the tea.

The Kelce patriarch told ABC affiliate News 5 Cleveland that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end asked the Grammy winner, both 35, to marry him at their shared home in Missouri “maybe two weeks, not quite two weeks” before they announced the news Tuesday.

“About a week ago, I asked Travis, ‘So when are you going to announce the engagement?’ He said, ‘Whenever Taylor says so,'” said Ed, who was at a public Philadelphia Eagles practice when Travis FaceTimed to let him know the happy news. The team held a public practice on Aug. 10 .
