A 78-year-old Bethlehem man has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a child for several years, starting when the victim was just four years old.
According to law enforcement officials in Lehigh County, Ronald Haberstumpf, 78, of Bethlehem, has been convicted of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault of a person under the are of 13 and related offenses after a trial on Aug. 26, 2025.

The offenses occurred repeatedly at a Bethlehem home from 2013 through 2017, starting when the victim was just four-years-old, police said.
