For three years, I've been meaning to get out to Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem and watch the races.

Last Saturday, with one race left before the season ended, I finally went to the races, and I took Bess with me.

We wish we hadn't waited so long.

It's an inexpensive night out

Tickets are $12, about the same as lawn tickets at a Dash or Grasshoppers baseball game, but you can sit nearly anywhere you like. Every seat is a good one, because, you know, the cars go round and round the track.
