BATTLE CREEK — We are listing the top 40 high school football players in the area and asking readers to vote for who will end up being the Battle Creek Enquirer Football Player of the Year when the season is over.

It's the 2025 Battle Creek Enquirer Preseason Football Player of the Year poll.

Games are starting this week and some athletes are ready to serve notice they are set for breakout years. Here's a preseason list of possible choices.
