Erling Haaland has changed the name on the back of his Norway shirt - but won't be making any alterations to the Manchester City kit.

Ahead of Norway's upcoming fixtures, it has been announced the City's No.9 will now wear Braut Haaland on the back of his shirt for the national team. That is a change for the player, although it is common in Norway to carry the surnames of both the mother and father of each player.

Haaland's mother, Gry Marita Braut, is a former heptathlete who the footballer has credited with his speed and athleticism. Norway play Finland on September 4 and Moldova on September 9, where the shirt could get its first airings.
