FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A 115-year-old record was broken in Fort Wayne this morning! Temperatures dropped to 42° this morning which beats our previous record of 45° set in 1910. We stay cool throughout the rest of the week, but overnight lows should warm up back into the 50s.
Rain showers return to the forecast tomorrow as a cold front approaches. Expect the best chance for widespread precipitation after about 6am through lunchtime with lingering scattered showers possible in the afternoon. This will be our last chance for rain as we stay dry for the holiday weekend under mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing back towards the low 80s by Labor Day.
