A house fire on the 1100 block of Scheuring Road in De Pere resulted in $150,000 in damages, according to De Pere Fire Rescue.

Fire officials responded to a structure fire at 5:45 a.m. Aug. 27. When they arrived, crews found a one-story duplex with an active fire in the garage and attic. All occupants of the home had already been evacuated, according to the fire department.

Smoke was coming from both sides of the attic. After performing an exterior attack, firefighters entered the home to make sure nobody else was inside and extinguished the interior.

The responding departments used approximately 1,000 gallons of water to put out the fire. No injuries were reported, as the American Red Cross assisted the displaced residents.
