LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- A blaze broke out at a La Vergne home Wednesday morning while the residents were asleep inside, but the family managed to escape safely.
According to city officials, crews from the La Vergne Fire Department were dispatched just before 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27 to a residential structure fire in the 1000 block of Topview Trail.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they discovered the four occupants had already evacuated the house.
