CENTER POINT, Iowa (KWWL) -- The Linn County Sheriff's Office is searching for a person of interest after a stabbing early Wednesday morning.

The department said it happened just before 1 AM at a home on Franklin Street in Center Point.

A man was seriously injured by a knife, but is expected to survive.

Authorities said Riley Young, 30, was identified as leaving the scene but has not yet been found.

If you know where he is, you're asked to call the Linn County Sheriff's office at 319-398-3911. If you see him, don't approach him and instead call authorities.
