MADISON (WKOW) — Abundant Life Christian School is reacting Wednesday to a deadly school shooting in Minneapolis.

According to published news reports , two children died and 17 others were hurt after a gunman shot a rifle through windows at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis while children were sitting in the pews during Mass. The shooter is believed to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

In December 2024 , ALCS experienced a tragedy at their own school when a girl shot and killed a staff member and fellow student. The girl also hurt six others in the attack.
