SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV)-- A Utica man appeared in federal court in Syracuse on August 26, 20255, on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography.

The complaint alleges that in 2023, a cloud storage service reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that one of the cloud server's users uploaded child pornography.

Based on geolocation information linked with the IP address linked to the upload, investigators from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office were able to tie the uploads to 20-year-old Win Naing.
