PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - UPDATE (8/27/25): Corena Minjarez was found guilty Wednesday of killing two children and hiding their remains in Pueblo.

Minjarez was charged with two counts of murder of a victim under 12 by a person in a position of trust, and two counts of abuse of a corpse. She was found guilty on all four counts.

The Southern Colorado court sentenced Minjarez to life in prison for counts one and two, and 120 days for counts three and four. The counts will run concurrently.
