A bride who had just one rule for bridesmaids on her wedding day was devastated when one of her oldest friends tried to break it. Chloe Cotterel was one of the many brides who chooses to wear white on the big day, and it's usually best for all other guests – including bridesmaids – to avoid this colour . ‌

Chloe had 10 bridesmaids and was pulling out all the stops, "treating" each to the dress they wanted with "no budget." She claimed she spent "hundreds" renting out a bridal shop and had just one rule: the bridesmaids had to pick from a particular colour palette that did not include white. ‌
