PEORIA, Ill. – After nearly a half-century of strikes and spares, a Peoria bowling alley is saying good-bye.

A social media post on Wednesday from Landmark Lanes announced that it will be closing its doors for good on September 23rd after 46 years.

The post cites the pending sale of the property as the reason for the closure.

UFitness, which operates inside Landmark Recreation, will continue to stay open.

In the post, Landmark thanked people for their “loyalty, support, and relationships” over the years.
