Chipotle Mexican Grill is doing something we have never seen before for college athletes.

The college football season officially returns this weekend with a full slate of games. As we all know, we are fully into the era of NIL and the transfer portal, when money is being tossed around in massive sums.

The popular fast-food Mexican chain has football fans going crazy as student-athletes at Ohio State, Florida, and Georgia will receive free Chipotle for the duration of the 2025-26 school year, it has been announced by college football reporter Brett McMurphy.

The Mexican grill restaurant chain, that once caught backlash for allegedly racially profiling an NFL star, plans to give out customized cards which entitles them to one free entree per for 15 weeks over the course of the season.
