MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police are planning a second news conference to provide more details after a shooting at a southwest Minneapolis church killed two children and left 17 people injured.

The press conference, scheduled for 2:30 p.m., will provide more information to the public. Shortly before 8:30 a.m., a man shot through windows at the Annunciation Catholic School and Church.

Of the 17 injured, 14 are children and two are in critical condition, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said at a Wednesday morning press conference. Officials said the gunman is dead and they believe he killed himself in a parking lot at the scene.
