A shelter-in-place order remains in place in Northwest Portland as officers attempt to take into custody a stabbing suspect in the neighborhood, police said.
Officers responded to a disturbance call at Northwest 18th Avenue and Johnson Street at about 9 a.m. Wednesday. They found two people who had been stabbed , one with severe injuries, according to a Portland Police Bureau statement.
The victims were taken to a nearby hospital. Their current conditions are not known at this time.
