The November election won’t feature many candidates on its ballot, but Bexar County voters are headed toward a major vote on funding for a new downtown Spurs arena and a year-round stock show and rodeo district on the East Side.

Both would be paid for by voter-approved taxes on hotel rooms and rental cars, though they’ll appear separately on the Nov. 4 ballot, as Props. A and B .

On the same ballot, Texans are being asked to weigh in this fall on 17 state constitutional amendments driven by the Republican-led legislature.

East Central ISD and Judson ISD are asking voters to approve tax rate increases, and North East ISD is holding a nearly half-billion dollar bond election.
