Killer nurse Lucy Letby's 'confession notes' could indicate she is innocent, according to one expert.

Detectives found dozens of Post-it notes and scraps of paper, including one which said "I killed them on purpose".

Prosecutors used the notes to help secure convictions against the notorious baby murderer.

But psychopath expert Emma Kenny said 'unfiltered' handwritten notes are a normal way for traumatised people to cope with their thoughts.

This does snot mean they are facts but are a way for people to put the 'noise in their head' onto paper, she said.

According to Emma, people use notes to cope with extreme stress in 'stream-of-consciousness writing' - a method used in therapy for self-awareness and to help tackle negative self-talk.
