The New York Knicks made a major change at the beginning of the offseason, deciding to move on from head coach Tom Thibodeau after he led them to an Eastern Conference Finals run.
Despite making that run, the Knicks came up short to the Indiana Pacers one step away from reaching the NBA Finals. Moving on from Thibodeau was a surprise, but the franchise clearly felt that a change was needed.
To replace him, New York went out and hired Mike Brown. Brown, who who has been a head coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Sacramento Kings, comes in as the new Knicks' lead man with an overall career record of 454-304.
