There was a lot of movement for the New Orleans Saints on the waiver wire – two of their recently-released players were claimed by other teams, but the Saints picked up two new names themselves.

According to the daily transactions wire published by the NFL office, the Saints added former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Trey Palmer. The 2023 sixth-round draft pick out of Nebraska (and before that, LSU) has caught 51 passes for 557 yards and four touchdowns in his career, and he has some size at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. He timed the 40 yard dash in a blistering 4.33 seconds coming out of college.
