Sabres' Zach Benson to throw out first pitch at Bisons' Hockey Day at the Ballpark

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bisons ' season is winding down, but not before their annual 'Hockey Day' returns to the ballpark.

"Hockey Day at the Ballpark" is returning for its fifth year. The event, in collaboration with the Buffalo Sabres , will take place at the Bisons' Sept. 6 game against the Syracuse Mets at 1:05 p.m.

To kick off the day's festivities, Sabres forward Zach Benson will be throwing out the first pitch.

There will also be a "Prospects Autograph Session" with 2025 first round pick Radim Mrtka and 2024 first round pick Konsta Helenius. Fans will also be able to get autographs with prospects Anton Wahlberg and Matteo Costantini. The autograph session will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fans wi
