FARMINGTON, Utah — If you are a fan of college sports — and, since you are reading this column in a publication based within the market of a Big Sky member institution, I sure hope so! — then I need not inform you that the current landscape for intercollegiate athletics looks far different than it ever has. Many would argue that these modifications were overdue, and by and large I do not disagree.

What I am here to share, however, is that, amid this sea of change, things have never been better for the Big Sky Conference.
