BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - The criminal case against former Botetourt County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Khari Ryder was resolved in court August 27, 2025, according to the Commonwelth’s Attorney’s Office.
Ryder was indicted on embezzlement charges March 10, according to the Chamber.
Wednesday, Ryder entered pleas of no contest to two misdemeanor counts of embezzlement and was found guilty of both, according to the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. In exchange for those pleas, he was sentenced to a year on each count, both suspended. The third count was a felony charge, to which he also pleaded no contest.
