The Los Angeles Chargers today signed linebacker Del'Shawn Phillips . In a corresponding move, the team placed cornerback Eric Rogers on Reserve/Injured.

Phillips comes to Los Angeles appearing in 72 career games, including the postseason, with Houston, Baltimore, the New York Jets and Buffalo. Entering the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in 2019, Phillips has recorded 42 tackles (20 solo), a sack, a quarterback hit, four tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a pair of recoveries. Known for his impact on special teams, Phillips has totaled 34 tackles on 1,389 special teams snaps. In three postseason contests, he has totaled a solo tackle, tackle for loss, three special teams tackles and a safety.
