Dan Skipper is returning to the Detroit Lions , and he's bringing a bunch of his friends with him.

The Lions signed Skipper and 14 other players to their practice squad Wednesday, all of whom were with the team in training camp.

Skipper, who spent last season as the team's swing tackle, was a surprise cut when the Lions set their initial roster this week. The Lions kept Jamarco Jones as their No. 3 tackle, second-year lineman Gio Manu as a developmental prospect and Kayode Awosika and Kingsley Eguakun as backup interior linemen.
