HARLINGEN — This year’s line-up at the Performing Arts Conservatory promises to be a happy season of shows for the entire family.

“It’s gonna be a lot of fun,” said Lee Ann Ince, director of performing arts.

“It’s very light,” she continued. “We’re doing things that are campy such as ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ which is a lot of fun, people are familiar with the movie.”

Indeed, they are.

The 1986 movie of that name starred Rick Moranis, Steve Martin and Jim Belushi and tells the comedy horror tale about a flower shop owner who raises a plant which feeds on human blood and flesh.

The rest of the season, Ince said, is all Disney.
